FAQs about the Baby Monitor

HOW DO I SET UP THE BABY MONITOR?

To use the Baby Monitor, first fully charge both the Baby Unit and Parent Unit. Then, power on by holding the Power button for two seconds, the units come paired already, so you can start using them right away.Once on and ready, place the Baby Unit with the microphone facing your baby and adjust sensitivity from the Parent Unit. Keep the Parent Unit nearby to monitor sounds, adjust volume, and enable vibration alerts. Both units are portable, with clips and stands, and the Baby Unit even has a unique magnetic attachment allowing it to be mounted on secure fabric. If the units ever need to be re-paired, please follow the instructions in the user manual.

HOW DOES THE BABY MONITOR WORK?

The Baby Monitor has two parts: the Baby Unit (transmitter) and the Parent Unit (receiver). You place the Baby Unit near your baby and keep the Parent Unit with you. Then, when your baby makes a sound, the LEDs on the Parent Unit light up, with louder sounds lighting more LEDs and no sound means the LEDs stay off. The Parent Unit can also vibrate, which is especially useful in noisy environments like when you use the vacuum.

DOES THE BABY MONITOR REQUIRE WI-FI?

No, the Baby Monitor does not use Wi-Fi. It works directly between the Baby Unit and Parent Unit through radio waves, so you can use it anywhere without needing an internet connection.

WHAT IS THE RANGE OF THE BABY MONITOR?

The Baby Monitor has a range of up to 800 meters, giving you plenty of coverage around your home or while you are on-the-go.

HOW WILL I BE ALERTED?

When your baby makes a sound, the Baby Unit triggers the Parent Unit to alert you in three ways: the LEDs light up (louder sounds light more LEDs), the unit vibrates for louder noises, and the sound comes through the Parent Unit’s speaker. This makes it easier to notice your baby, even in noisy environments.

HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST?

The Baby Monitor has a standby battery life of over 100 hours. You will receive low battery alerts when it’s time to recharge. For best results, fully charge the units for at least 4 hours before first use and once the battery is depleted.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE CONNECTION IS LOST?

If the Parent Unit goes out of range for more than 40 seconds, it will sound an alert and the LED level meter will flash. Once the Baby Unit and Parent Unit are back within range, the alert will stop automatically and the connection will resume.

In rare cases, strong interference can cause the units to lose pairing. If this happens, they can be re-paired by following the steps outlined in the user manual. Once re-paired, the monitor will be ready to use again as normal.

CAN I USE THE MONITOR IN TWO DIFFERENT ROOMS AT ONCE?

As long as the Baby Unit and Parent Unit are within range of each other, they will continue to work normally, even if they are in different rooms.

CAN THE MONITOR BE USED OUTDOORS (E.G., IN A STROLLER)?

Yes, the Baby Monitor works well outdoors and is especially handy when you’re out with your stroller. Using the included magnetic mount, the Baby Unit can be securely attached inside the stroller canopy, facing your baby. As long as the Parent Unit stays within range, you’ll continue to receive sound, LED, and vibration alerts just like you would indoors. This makes it easy to keep an ear on your little one when they are out of hearing range, whether you’re reading a book on the porch, gardening in the yard, or enjoying a coffee on the balcony. Always ensure the Baby Unit is securely mounted and safely out of reach.

HOW DO I CLEAN AND MAINTAIN THE MONITOR?

Before cleaning, make sure the monitor is switched off and disconnected from the power supply. Wipe the units gently with a slightly damp cloth, and avoid using soap, detergent, or harsh cleaning products. When the monitor is not in use, store it in a dry place. During use or storage, always leave at least 5 mm of space around the product to allow proper ventilation.

CAN IT GIVE FALSE ALARMS?

Yes, it can happen. The Baby Monitor reacts to sound, so occasional background noise may trigger an alert. If you find you’re getting more irrelevant alerts than you’d like, you can easily adjust the microphone sensitivity using the Mic Sensitivity Up and Down buttons on the Parent Unit.

HOW DO I CHARGE THE BABY MONITOR?

1. Pull the small rubber (silicone) cover at the bottom of the device to access the USB-C charging port.

2. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to a 5V DC USB-C power adapter.

3. The charging indicator will light red while charging (whether the unit is on or off).

4. The indicator will turn off once the battery is fully charged (normally about 4 hours).

5. The device can remain connected to the charger safely. When battery power drops, charging will automatically resume.

6. Before using it for the first time, fully charge the battery for at least 4 hours with the unit switched off.

7. The device can be used while charging but charging time will be longer.

CAN I TALK BACK TO MY BABY THROUGH THE BABY MONITOR?

No, the Baby Monitor does not have a talk-back or two-way audio function.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED DISTANCE FROM THE BABY?

Place the Baby Unit at a safe distance where your baby cannot reach, pull on, or interact with it. Make sure it is securely mounted or positioned, and always avoid placing the Baby Unit directly above your baby to prevent any risk of injury if it were to fall.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE TO PLACE THE MONITOR IN?

The Baby Monitor is technically designed to withstand temperatures between -19°C and 50°C.

However, we do not recommend exposing your baby to extreme temperatures. Always follow guidance from your pediatrician regarding appropriate environmental conditions for your child.

Please note that prolonged use of the device in very cold or very hot conditions, particularly below -19°C or above 50°C, may reduce battery performance and impact long-term durability. For optimal performance and longevity, we recommend using the monitor within this temperature range.

WHEN SHOULD I USE THE SOUND & LED INDICATOR VERSUS THE VIBRATION ALERT?

Our parent unit offers two ways to monitor sound from the baby unit: the sound & LED Indicator and the vibration alert. The sound & LED indicator lights up on the level meter whenever the baby unit detects noise, with louder sounds lighting up more LEDs and silence turning them off. This provides a visual cue that is especially helpful when the speaker is muted or the volume is low.

The vibration alert can be activated by pressing the vibration button, causing the parent unit to vibrate whenever louder sounds are detected. This is particularly useful in noisy environments, such as when vacuuming or during family gatherings, allowing you to stay aware of your baby even when you might not hear or see the monitor.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT IT EMITS LOW RADIATION LEVELS, IS THIS SAFE?

All wireless devices, including baby monitors, emit low levels of electromagnetic radiation (EMF), similar to mobile phones or Wi-Fi routers.

Our Baby Monitor is designed to operate at very low transmission power and always remains below 25 mW, in accordance with applicable regulations. The device does not emit radiation continuously. Transmission levels vary depending on usage, such as how frequently alerts are triggered or data is transmitted. When activity is low, emission levels are significantly lower. Even during higher activity, the monitor does not exceed regulatory limits.

The product complies with relevant safety standards and is considered safe for everyday use. For additional peace of mind, we recommend placing the monitor at an appropriate distance from your baby, as outlined in the user manual.

HOW CAN I ADJUST THE SOUND SENSITIVITY?

You can adjust the sensitivity using the Mic Sensitivity Up/Down buttons on the Parent Unit. The LED Level Meter shows the current sensitivity level (1–5 LEDs): more LEDs mean higher sensitivity (picks up quieter sounds), and fewer LEDs mean lower sensitivity.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BATTERY RUNS LOW OR THE DEVICE DISCONNECTS?

If the Parent Unit goes out of range for more than 40 seconds, an alarm will sound and the LED Level Meter will flash. The alarm stops automatically once the units reconnect. You will also hear this alarm if the Baby Unit is switched off or if its battery is low or empty.
