We recommend washing them with similar colors to maintain their vibrancy. Additionally, it's beneficial to use a mild, eco-friendly detergent that is gentler on the fabric and safer for the environment. Avoiding high spin cycles can also help prevent excessive wrinkling and reduce the need for ironing.

The muslins are pre-washed to ensure softness and minimize shrinkage post-purchase. However, a shrinkage of up to 5% is still possible. To reduce further shrinkage, wash the muslins in cold to warm water and avoid high-heat drying. It’s also a good practice to wash them gently and avoid overloading the washer.

Our muslins, sized at 65x65cm, are slightly too small to effectively swaddle a newborn. Ideally, a larger size between 80-100cm is recommended for swaddling. Nonetheless, these muslins are versatile and can be used for other purposes like burping, as a comforter, or for shading the pram. For swaddling, consider using larger cloths to ensure a snug, secure wrap for the baby.

Yes, the dyes used are safe for babies, as evidenced by our GOTS certification. This ensures that the materials and the dyes are not only safe but also environmentally and socially responsible. The certification guarantees that no harmful chemicals or toxic substances have been used throughout the production process, making them ideal for sensitive baby skin.

Currently, our muslin 2-packs come in pre-determined colors. While customization isn't available at this moment, offering feedback on your color preferences could influence future product offerings. All our muslins are currently offered in one size, 65x65cm. This size is chosen to maximize versatility for everyday use while still being convenient to carry. However, based on customer feedback, we might consider introducing larger sizes tailored for specific needs such as swaddling or covering larger areas.

Our muslins are designed to withstand frequent washes, thanks to the resilience of 100% organic cotton. Following the care instructions is key to maintaining their durability and softness. Organic cotton is not only durable but also less likely to degrade or pill as opposed to conventional cotton. Over time, they may actually become softer with each wash.
