Kapok is a natural material that comes from the tree of the same name and is hypoallergenic, temperature-regulating, and breathable – and this pillow is filled with it.

The exterior is made of a soft and kind GOTS-certified cotton that will feel wonderful against your little one’s skin.

Available in two sizes, baby and junior, this pillow is good for your little one and as kind to the environment as we can make it.

Care
We recommend that you do not wash your kapok products, but rather shake them regularly or hang them outdoors to aerate where possible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE KAPOK PILLOW

Kapok is a great material that has certain natural properties such as being hypoallergenic and temperature regulating that make it an ideal material for a pillow. Additionally, kapok fibres are very respectful of the environment as they do not require much water to grow and don't need trees to be cut down to be harvested.

We recommend airing the pillow out once a month in fresh air and cleaning out small minor stains with a damp cloth.

As the kapok pillows are made for babies and juniors, it is likely that you will need to replace your little one's pillow a few times as they grow. However, how often you replace the pillow itself is entirely dependent on your needs.

 

The kapok pillow is very soft. Kapok fibres are often referred to as silk cotton as the fine and fluffy fibres feel smooth and luxurious while being even softer than cotton.

 

We offer our kapok pillow in two sizes - one for baby and one for junior. The baby size is available in Danish standard size (35x40cm) and German standard size (30x35cm). The junior size is also available in Danish standard size (40x45cm) and German standard size (40x60cm).

 

Yes, we offer bedding that matches the sizes of our pillows and duvets in both baby and junior sizes, in a variety of neutral muted colors.

No, the pillow is not vacuum packed as that would flatten the kapok fibres and potentially damage its useful natural properties.

 

Both our pillows for baby and junior can also be used by adults, however they do not correspond to the classic adult-sized pillows as they are intended for babies and children.

 

The pillow does not come with a case. We offer a matching pillowcase though that you can purchase separately. If you purchase our textile bundle, then you will receive the pillow with a pillowcase and the matching duvet with a pillowcase as well.
